It's hard to believe another year has come and gone! There were so many things I accomplished, yet there is still work to be done. Although I try not to think of life in chronological terms, it seems to shape my definition of success or failure by all the things I did or wanted to do. However, I don't count myself out.
I was encouraged by one of my daily devotionals to make the final 48 hours of the year count. Perhaps there were some things that you felt led to do, but did not-things you knew God wanted you to do.
Well, on this next to the last day of the year, I am writing this blog. I also added my artwork to my website for sale, which I had purposed to do eight months ago. I have always loved art. One of my desires is to see many of the largest art museums in the world. So far, I have visited the Met and MOMA in New York, the Smithsonian in DC, the Vatican in Italy, the Prado and Thyssen in Madrid. the Ufiizzi in Florence, and the LA County Museum in Los Angeles. I want to share my gift with you, in hopes that you will share in one of my passions.
So, even if there are things left undone, stay in the game until you finish. Keep ebbing away at your dream until it becomes a reality. Start the new year with purpose that you will complete what you started before you take on a new task.
One of my key words this year is DISCIPLINE. I believe I will continue to center my life around this word until I become disciplined at all the things I set out to do.
Be encouraged, count yourself in-with many things to look forward to! Share your gift with the world, be a better person, a better giver, find a need and fill it. I truly believe that when you have found your life's purpose and meaning, expressed in your own unique style, you have discovered The Total You.
