The year has gone by like months and the months have gone by like days. Here we are, hours away from a new year, a new season. If your'e like me, you waited for opportunity to knock and the door to open. You waited, and waited, and waited...Finally, the light bulb goes on- CREATE the opportunities you want. Creating requires productivity-the second step on the path to success mentioned in the post on December 12 (Purpose, Productivity, Patience, Perseverance).
This post will not be filled with resolutions, regrets, or promises. It is an encouragement, a mandate to ACT. We've learned that baby steps count, setting small goals matter, focus is necessary, being intentional is critical, and taking action builds momentum. At some point, "you've got to get up, get out and do it!" (Don't remember where that came from..)
Create opportunity by identifying what you want and asking for it. Be innovative in your creativity- look for uncharted and unprecedented territory to explore. You must begin with the end in mind. See the result before it happens and write down steps to make it happen.
Let's do it!
1. Think about what you love to do/what you would love to happen.
2. How can it be improved? be more innovative?/How can you improve? be more innovative?
3. How would you respond if you were given the opportunity to make that improvement/innovation?
4. Who can you ask? /What steps will you take?
The man who had received five bags of gold brought the other five. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with five bags of gold. See, I have gained five more.’ “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things.

I love to journal. Sometimes daily, monthly, when I feel like putting my thoughts down. This year, I purpose to write more. It helps get things out of my head and fuels my creativity. I also want to create an art journal with my artistic musings.
You can get a one-year journal, five-year, ten-year, daily, monthly, doesn't matter. Check out these gorgeous books by Paperblanks to get you motivated to create. These journals can be found at Books-A-Million stores or online.
